Introducing new boardmembers

WAYOH is happy to announce that our team has expanded.

We would like to welcome you to our new general board members; Jeroen Mustamu and Thais Massop. They are going to assist in several tasks as technical support, participant selection, sending out news letters, creating strategic partnerships, brainstorm sessions and implementing local activities,

Founder Marten and Jeroen has both been actively involved in the local youthcentre.With a long history in youthwork of organising activities for the youth in the field of sports, games and outdoor activities and organising small scale live music events like music festivals and open mic sessions for upcuming young artists. After reconnecting on an Erasmus+ project in Italy in 2018, they joined forces again in 2021, to continue their efforts internationally as the contactperson for the (back then) non formal youth group WAYOH. He is also one of the 3 creative minds behind the local intercultural beach barbeque FAM At The Beach, wich we organised in july 2023.
After these succesfull years of working together, we are happy to welcome Jeroen ofiicially to the board of WAYOH!

Marten met Thais arround 20 years ago. She has always been supportive of youthwork and as a care taker for visually impared people, she understands the importance of inclusion. With a creative mind and a personal interest in outdoor games and activities, she will also contribute by developing future local activities for WAYOH.
As general boardmember, she will support with secretary tasks and together with Marten and our graphic designer Simon, she is mainly responsible for the layout of this beautiful website! In the proces of brainstorming with Jeroen and Marten for creating the website, she expressed her enthausiasm for our vision and mission and how she was motivated to do volunteer work, wich resulted in her offer to join the board and assist the foundation.
So, we are happy to welcome Thais officially to the board of WAYOH!
